Spindles are the heart of your machine …and if humans are anything to go by, we need to keep these parts in good working condition.
During some down-time, it is strongly advised to give your machines a quick check-over and assess the condition of the machine spindles. If some spindles do need replacing then now is an ideal opportunity to see to them.
And while you are looking at the spindles, check all relating parts:
- collet operation shoes
- spindle bearings
- toggles
- toggle carriers
- toggle operating sleeves
- toggle pins and rollers
