Wickman 6-26
Introduced in 1998 in its Standard and Spindle Stopper versions, the Wickman 6-26 multi spindle (screw machine) automatic lathe was developed to meet the needs of the medium to large user looking for higher productivity and the satisfaction of demanding customers who require higher accuracy, consistency and reliability.

Following a rigorous design programme to meet the manufacturing demands of the 21st century, the latest generation of Wickman multi spindle automatic lathes is a machine reborn with many improvements:
- Hirth-type drum locking giving vastly improved positioning accuracy
- Improved work spindle arrangement
- All spindles are dynamically balanced, which allows spindle speed to be increased to 5000 rpm
- Helical drive gears for a more positive drive and quieter running
- Toggle-free clamping; less maintenance with improved collet clamping force
- Allowance for the machine to be converted to spindle stopping if needed
- Removable Swarf conveyor and coolant tank
- Siemens OP7 PLC control for user-friendly operation of machine functions
- Tetra servo feed motor for optimum cycle times also with optimum feed rates giving improved tool life
- All accessories and attachments used on the Wickman 1” x 6 can be also used on the Wickman 6-26
